J.A.R.M. v.7.19.10

* – RIP, Mark Haskell.

Mark was the brother of one of my best friends. He died this past Saturday at approximately 3:30PM in a plane crash. He was 42 years old. He leaves behind a wife and three children.

* – now on to more cheerful stuff (it was a slow week, folks, so this won’t take long)…

* – remember Dark Shadows? Hollywood does.

* – yup, Hollywood remembers the cartoon show Gargoyles, too.

* – first the Hulk was Eric Bana, then he was Ed Norton – now he’s Mark Ruffalo?

* – Kemtee nails it again.

* – so, how painful is it to live in your state?

* – his seventh vacation?! Vacation from what? What has he done that he needs a vacation from it?

* – “Barrack Obama got elected by telling the American public to go to hell in such a way that they looked forward to the trip.” – Rush Limbaugh 7/14/10

* – you know, Glenn Beck is constantly talking about how he’s waiting for the next George Washington. Well, I’m waiting for him, too, folks, but at this point I’d be happy with the next Ronald Reagan.

  1. Kemtee’s smart. I’d gleefully live in Kemteestan tomorrow.

  2. Bo, you’d be welcome, but just remember that Hizzoner’s a UT fan.

    I’m middle-of-the-road painful around here, but at least I can claim that the commonwealth is running a surplus for FY2010 because of it. (Let’s see, GOP gov after two consecutive dems… hmm… )

    I’m so very sorry about your friend. I wish peace to his family.

  3. Very, very sorry to hear about your friend.

    Does anyone remember the 1972 made for TV gem called “Gargoyles?” I remember watching it at a slumber party when I was about 8 or 9.

  4. At this stage of his presidency, W had taken many more days off.
