Don’t you love lists?

I do.

Or, at least the type of lists that rank things. You know, “The 25 Top This,” and “The Top 50 That,” and “The Ten Worst of Those,” etc., et., etc… Lists like those can generate conversations that will last for hours.

For the sake of giving you something to talk about around the water cooler before the World Series starts (or anywhere else you like to shoot the bull), try these out…

First, some I’ve posted before:

A potential cast for a live-action Hobbit film.

How can Pamela Anderson and Salma Hayek not be on this list?

How can Top Gun not be on this list?

Why do people find these women attractive?

I understand why people feel these women are attractive.

This one’s for the ladies (thanx, Mrs. C.).

Now for some lists I’ve seen out and about on the WWW…

What’s funny about this list is that as you read it you’ll inevitably say “Hey – I like that song!”

Is your favorite music artist on this list?

Here’s one for you air guitarists.

Any movie fans out there?

Quotable quotes.

There, those ought to keep you busy for a while.

  1. I’ve seen 28 of your “any movie fans out there” list:
    2, 3, 8, 10, 13, 15, 20, 21, 24, 25, 32, 34, 36, 40, 50, 56, 57, 66, 68, 69, 70, 71, 72, 74, 76, 89, 97, and 99. (Oh, and there’s a typo on # 44)

I LOVE lists!! Thanks for this!!

  2. I’ve seen 41 one of those movies. I also own a fabulous book that came out last year, called 1001 Movies You Must See Before You Die. It’s thick, heavy and full of explanations about each film, production photos, “why” it should be seen. It is a superb reference book.
