Despite all that, TwoBlue, you occasionally get someone who makes you say, “Hmmm, things must not be so bad, after all.”

For example, within a day or two of the initial crisis hitting, I had somebody drop $4,000 on a 7ct tennis bracelet.

A rare occurrence, to be sure, but it was nice to see, nonetheless.

As for the light attendance at the store: how much could the pols squeeze ordinary people and then successfully beg them to continue to be the “engine of the economy?”

The jobs went overseas, the “geniuses of Wall Street” almost collapsed the economy, over $400billion of our tax money goes to pay interest on the national debt every year, the military budget is about four times as big as it needs to be, etc., etc.

Something wrong with the current economic model?
